Hi, I am Suhani! I am currently studying in IB year 2 at the St. Joseph International Institute (SJII) in Singapore. As a Mumbai-born Indian who has lived in Singapore for the last 11 years, and has changed 5 schools, I am a firm believer in the philosophy of change as a catalyst for personal growth. While change can be uncomfortable and challenging, to begin with, it creates opportunities for us to learn new things and helps us develop a resilient mindset.

As a passionate student of higher-level History and English, I aim to remain attuned to significant community issues, actively seeking avenues that enable me to create positive change. Recognizing the transformative impact of service, I endeavor to actively engage in initiatives that not only broaden my horizons but also create meaningful impacts within my community. By embracing change and actively participating in service endeavors, I believe we have the potential to shape a brighter collective future.
Alongside my dedication to service, I find solace and self-expression in the realm of performing arts. My journey has encompassed learning Theatre and an Indian classical dance - Kathak across prestigious art schools in Singapore and performing at associated productions and events since 2015. Drama has allowed me to explore diverse characters, fostering empathy and a deeper understanding of the human condition, while Kathak dance has enabled me to connect with my cultural roots and its vibrancy. These art forms are a reflection of my personal journey, further enriching my personal growth.
